Terms of Service — Ruviolabs

Welcome to Ruviolabs. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Patient", "Nurse", or "Care Provider") and Ruviolabs Inc. ("Company", "we", "us"). By accessing our website or mobile apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Medical Emergency Disclaimer — Call 112 / 108

CRITICAL NOTICE: Ruviolabs is a scheduled home nursing and non-emergency caregiver connectivity platform. We DO NOT provide emergency hospital response or ambulance services. If you or a family member are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, acute cardiac distress, or trauma, immediately call local emergency services (112 or 108 in India) or proceed to the nearest hospital.

2. Description of the Platform

Ruviolabs acts as a technology intermediary connecting care seekers (patients and their families) with independent, verified care providers (registered nurses, nursing assistants, and home health aides).

• Care Providers: Independent healthcare professionals who possess valid nursing or healthcare credentials.
• Verification Standards: Ruviolabs conducts document verification (state nursing council registrations, qualifications, government IDs) prior to activating a provider on the marketplace.
• Scope of Work: Care providers perform services strictly within their certified clinical competencies (e.g. vital monitoring, wound dressing, catheter management, post-operative support, elder companionship).

3. Account Registration & Mobile Security

1. Accuracy: You must provide truthful, complete, and updated information during registration.
2. Unique Identity: To prevent fraud and protect patient safety, each mobile phone number can be associated with only one active user or care provider account.
3. Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and any activity conducted under your authenticated profile.

4. Bookings, Cancellations & Replacement

1. Booking Requests: When a user creates a care request, matching nearby nurses receive the request and can accept or decline based on availability.
2. Cancellations: Users may cancel a pending booking request at any time prior to nurse arrival. If a nurse fails to respond or accept within the broadcast window, the user can cancel and request another available caregiver with zero penalty.
3. Code of Conduct: Both patients and visiting care providers are expected to treat one another with utmost dignity, respect, and professional courtesy. Harassment or abuse of any kind results in immediate permanent ban and potential legal referral.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ruviolabs operates as a matchmaking and coordination platform. While we rigorously vet credentials, independent healthcare providers are responsible for their clinical practice and professional conduct. Ruviolabs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from off-platform agreements.

6. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms periodically. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" timestamp will be modified, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of Ruviolabs.
